Hyperactivity in ADHD can be triggered by lack of sleep, stress, technology, and overstimulation. For example, lack of sleep can cause the person to become restless to make up for the fatigue he or she is experiencing. Unmanaged stress can cause the person to become irritable.
Excessive screen time may also trigger hyperactivity since it diverts the person to various digital media activities that can overstimulate them to do more things than they should.

Since people with ADHD are unable to develop or improve their cognitive skills, they have a hard time figuring things out. They cannot understand what’s going on around them. This causes them to become defiant.
Although there is no clear cause of Oppositional Defiant Disorder, it may also be linked to genetic or environmental factors.

Conduct Disorder is another symptom of ADHD. It is a more severe version of ODD. Interestingly, it’s a more common symptom in boys. Just like ODD, the person struggles with self-control. Hence, the person can be disobedient and resistant to rules and authority.
It’s also hard for the person to accept responsibilities. So, he or she ends up blaming other people.
